Microsoft Outlook review Like the other applications in Office 365, Outlook makes use of a ribbon menu to bring the most relevant features and functions right to the fore when you need them. Microsoft Outlook was introduced to the public in 1997 and was included with Microsoft Office 97. Outlook Express was included with Windows XP (and was the only free version). Since then, Microsoft has released an abundance of updated versions, each offering more features than the one before it. Then re-start Outlook to check the result. If the issue persists, we'd like to introduce our dedicated Outlook in-app support team to you and we recommend you contact our Outlook for Mac experts there for further 1:1 troubleshooting. Simply click Help Contact support to start working with our Mac support. Jun 12, 2020 Microsoft has not specified a release date for the new Outlook Mac but a few things are clear. First, it will be the best Outlook yet, perhaps on any platform, in terms of appearance and design. This is not a high bar: Outlook on Windows is a mess from a user interface perspective, and has dialogues buried within that have not changed for decades.
